09/21/09...In the next few days, I'll be uploading 3 of the 4 songs I'm currently recording at Eric Bass'(of Shinedown) studio, Ocean Industries Studios in Charleston. I'm waiting on final revisions of "It Don't Matter", "How Could You" and "Fire All Your Guns"(formerly Believe). I'll be finishing the 4th song "The Breaker" in the next week or so. I can't wait to get these up and see what you guys think. I'm really lucky to be working with some serious and awesome talent including David Dunning, Jeff Leonard, and Eric Rickert. The scratch tracks have been up for awhile. It's almost time for the real thing!! 08/01/09...Alright I'm taking the VIP plunge. I just got out of the studio today and recorded a bunch of scratch tracks...Live, just me, a piano and one take. Obviously they aren't anywhere near perfect. I need to decide which 4 songs to start off with and get produced. All input is appreciated. Just for fun, at the end of the session today, I recorded and covered my favorite song of all time, Thunder Road.

05/06/09...Please check out the video I put up...It's my 12 year old niece Samantha playing one of her songs at a songwriters night this week. She just started playing guitar a few months ago. The video quality is awful(thanks Uncle S) but her song and performance speak for itself. We'll get some better video soon. Enjoy!

03/19/09...Well here we are about to start the new season on SF tomorrow. Thanks to you guys, it's been a great run for me since I started here on 06/17/08. I'm proud to say that I have the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th ranked songs overall here. Probably could have made it #5 had I not replaced "The Emotional Roller Coaster Ride." It will make it's return soon though. I briefly touched #2 in the rankings here but apparently the #1 and #2 spots were predetermined so what can ya do, lol? Now we begin again. I'm looking forward to reconnecting with old friends and making new ones...and of course hearing some of the greatest untapped talent out there. Good luck to all!!

03/10/09...Gonna be fairly quiet and semi-active until the 20th. Time for a short break. I'll be ready to go on 3/20 and will certainly keep my eyes wide open about what's happening here and how it's being done. Always a skeptic but always optimistic. We'll see...Peace...

01/16/09...I'll be uploading a new song, hopefully, tomorrow or Sunday if the mastering is completed. It's the song mix I won in the point store in which Grammy winning mix engineer, Ken Lewis does his thing! I have to remove one of my current songs, unfortunately, and I believe it will be "The Emotional Roller Coaster Ride." The ERCR will reappear at some point but for now, get your downloads while it's still up.

Today Jan. 2, 2009 is my 200th day on Stereofame and I am honored to be the first artist to cross the 2,000,000 point mark! Thanks to all of you amazing artists, labels and listeners who help me to achieve this milestone on the greatest music site that the internet has ever seen! I'd like to wish all a happy, healthy, successful and rockin' new year! Peace...
