Roksta is a mixed Caucasian / African American rapper/singer from the Northwest. He began onto his mission of being a rapper/singer at a very young age by listening to all kinds and different forms of music that peaked his interest. Before his musical inspirations from his night life and always being surrounded around good music at different various night clubs, popping bottles with models, A lot of people around him would ask " What music is new and hot right now ?" Reason being is they knew that he had a good sense and taste in music , which, he more then likely inherited some of his gifted talents from his father, Sheldon Miller, once,a drummer for the well-known piece of historic band known as Parliament-Funkadelic(The 70's thang).
Roksta soon then realized he wanted to make music of his own for the passion he had for it. Though there were a lot of skeptics around him, he just ignored there daunting remarks and focused on one thing and one thing only,The "MUSIC!" "If you make good enough music (says Roksta) they will listen and that's all that's important, you can forget the rest."
The talented Northwest artist then soon began recording and editing a lot of his own work, but with a highly successful feedback rate, which then landed him his first gig and live appearance at Heavens night club in Seattle, WA.
Next ,in search of branching out to the industry he started networking his way up by working with other such local talents as L-dub - Onfire, Shorte, Tr3 nut etc. After this, he was on a new voyage to Houston,TX to meet a highly talented artistic group that sings, raps and dances named "The Stereo Hogzz". Learning what he could from them and other talented artist's in the Houston area, he then went to work with talents from NYC learning a great deal of knowledge and experience to get on the next level. Now, with all he has learned, he's performing live sets and making appearances at several different venues and events such as Cederwood dome, Ibiza,show & shine cars show, etc.
Roksta is currently working on his anticipated debut album entitled "Taste of fame." In all Roksta has a gifted talent that will bring a new ,different flavor and style to the music industry.

First question we would like to discuss is, where were you born and raised?
[Roksta] Seattle WA
Describe for the readers what your city is like.
[Roksta] I can say in Seattle "We make it rain" lol
The weather can be a little crazy at times but the people ,Nightlife and ladies are wonderful. No matter where I am , I can always call that place home .
How did you get started with hip hop/rap/r&b?
[Roksta] Well, Besides growing up around it in the 90's,
also when I was younger my dad was in the music industry already in a band called "Funkadelic" as a drummer for the 70's thang so I have always had a keen Ear for music but the curousity started when one of my friends started making music from his own home . I experimented with it and let a few people hear what I had to offer and they really enjoyed it . After that, I made my first song "Game right" I really enjoyed making it and I knew Exactly what I wanted to do after that. I was going to pursue my Dream to be the best and Join the best because Music is my passion.
Who are your top inspirational artists?
[Roksta] I would have say Pharrall ,Kanye west, Tpain and lil wayne and ti for Keepin the game fresh and new , and thinking outside the box at all times . I hope I can provide the same quality That they put into there music.
Are you currently working on an album? If so, what is it called? What is the significance of the name?

Who is responsible for the beat production and the lyrics behind your music?
[Roksta] For beats, I get a lot of them from "White hot productions".
And I also Get a lot from soundclick.com producers .
I think learning to produce my own beats will be the next Project Im going to learn when I have some free time . Shout outs to Nick Altson for helping me on some of my first lyrics !

[Roksta] As of right now Things are still in the works , but I a guarantee 1 thing , If they aint fire, you wont see em on my album.
