I haven't been on as much. Fall semester is here, so I'll be busy - between homework and the job. Haven't completed anything new as of lately, but I figured that's the least of my worries right about now. Who knows how long I'll be here, anyway. Hm.

SF, are you serious? Major record labels on SF? Who the hell finds that ridiculous? This is a website for artists trying to rise with their music, and the website brings on MAJOR RECORD LABEL ARTISTS for listeners. Was your music not enough? Apparently, listeners will have a chance to hear music that has already made it - and rest assure, they will compare your music with theirs. Just in case SF did not realize the affect that move will make. Just when you thought SF creators were getting smarter.
YOUR STUPIDITY IS AMAZING (YES, YOU)
(I've no patience with 'you' anymore.)
Over the last week, I've been recieving feedback (which is good, I love that) that has been very interesting. Because if I wasn't told to 'go commercial', I was told to 'have better quality, then I'll be signed'.
Is this a joke?
I've been talking a lot not selling-out. I've been expressing my love for pure music and not the equipment it's on. I've ranted about fashion being intigrated with music is a distraction to unique sound. All of which has apparently touched deaf ears.
Are you people joking?
For the last time, I don't care about the game. I don't care to 'get famous'. I don't care about decisions to get signed or not. I don't care about being anything like you - if I haven't been clear enough.
I ask for feedback on my expression. That's it. I don't care to sound like Mariah Carey, or get some heavy bass and a screaming voice so teens can love me. In case folks haven't realized, when you press that play button, you won't hear anything commercial, or like any other artist here, probably. You'll hear me. So stop comparing me with everyone else or what you want me to sound like. If you don't like it, stfu and move off my page.

I've decided to start enjoying SF. While I can state the many annoying factors of 'the game', which doesn't really include 'the game' at all. Rather the rank-hungry, point-greedy 'players' of the game annoy me. So as a reminder, if you're one of those who sign artists for the sake points, then drop 'em when they've lost use to you...I don't want you on my page. Stop reading. Stop listening.
I've started listening to artists that are a million ranks away from #1. I've also discovered some great music back there, it's amazing. Did you realize how commercial we are? The lower in rank is equivelant to radio music - the bloody mainstream I've been avoiding all my life. (Not to say SF rank 6,789 etc. isn't commercial) I don't know, I tend to find 'real' music furtherest from that first place spot. Wait...I get it now. It makes sense. Why else are the mainstream-like artists in front row? I just read a SF review (googled it) that says they play the same music over and over again. I never knew that, actually. Anyway, wouldn't you want the best songs on your CD to be front row?

It is 7:13AM, eastern time. I've yet to sleep. I have a psychology paper due in a day, and I've yet to start it. Instead, refreshing my playlist. Who do I have to blame? SF, of course. Because every once in a while it becomes addictive, until it annoys me. " -from the biggest non stereotype there is." A quote from the comment board on the right. zAdDick said it. He deserves a spotlight. Just for that line. :] Thanks for listening to the tunes, man. And all of you, for that matter. You actually take the time to listen to what I sound like. For the listeners and the label signers. Really, I appreciate it. It's encouraging. YOU guys rule. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to practice my air-bending skills. It's not working yet - am I doing something wrong?

So I was browsing some websites and I came across a venue that looked appealing. Now, I don't perform live or anything. But I thought maybe I should see myself standing beside the other 'upcoming' bands that were in the venue's line up. Only, I figured I'd be out of place.
Firstly, for all of you bands out there, I just want to know - is it a requirement to have snapshot of your group standing in exaggerated poses that represent grief, depression, or serious thought? Are you not allowed to smile, thus risking a sign of real humanity? Naturally, if you're genre is rock, your clothes MUST fit the part or no one will like you. I understand. But what the hell is with the poses? Because when I see a bunch of middle-aged, long-haired tattooed men called 'Tranquilizer' stare the hell out of me, I'm left to wonder if they're all stoned or their photographer hadn't informed them that the picture was taken. I'm not sure.
I'd be rude to state only one stereotype. Honestly, hip-hop fashion show is no better. Is it a crime to wear a t-shirt that actually fits? Is it standard for every rapper to wear hats (that MUST be slanted, cannot forget that)? I swear every rapper wears a big, white t-shirt. All of them. If it isn't white, it's just plan black. And forget about smiling. That'll destroy the bad-### persona. Please, let's avoid the issue with the baggy pants.
By the way, I noticed that I constantly wear black and black accessories. Does that make me goth? What IS goth? Is it a music style? A fashion style? A mental style? (Or perhaps a historic architectural building structure?) I heard someone say 'she's not a real goth'. Enough said.
Maybe when I'm fully awake, I'll re-read this and decide whether or not I should delete.

So I've returned to this site. Couldn't stay away for so long. I've been busy with school and all. Second year of college. Anyway, I've at least completed some new songs. Three, to be exact. (One being a remix.) Anyway, I'll check in more frequently (or try to). Take care, everyone.

I haven't been honest. My music, yes. But me, far from it. Anyway, I don't expect this to be read, I see my stats. lol But I figure if I AM going to have my work on the internet..It's time to just be straightforward.
The purpose of my music isn't to sound like I've got great vocals. I don't. My skills are limited. I'm not trying to sound like anyone else; I'm not a great imitator. So with that out the way, I just want to express myself. Like everyone else, I have a story. I'm not different. I'm not unique. My feelings are simple.
So with all that being said, please don't think you're about to listen to something great - something that could be marketed in glory. It's just expression in various styles, for those who think music is all about expression - cause I do.
So at last, my bro has made a stereofame page! (No, I get no points or anything for it. It was a word-of-mouth recommendation.) His music is actually...meaningful. Hip-hop gospel. Come on, would I refer you to garbage? (Would I?) Anyway, if that's your genre of interest, feel free to check them out.
