"NED HOPER" group is a result of cooperation of raduga-701 band's musicians and Australian composer Ned Hoper. Experimental project was initially designed for writing movie soundtracks, but then (despite of Ned?s protests) the group found forces for the live work - the first concert took place in February 2007 at St. Petersburg Zoccolo club. After this performance the idea begetter became much more enthusiastic about scene work but still musicians were spending most part of their time in the studio developing groundwork. ??In its work "ned Hoper" use many and various unusual tools: there are heaps of some devices, synthesizers, baritone guitars, vocoder and even theremin. But it is not just a noise - the sound balances between retro and ultramodern.

Facts: 1. Ned Hoper - Australian composer working parallel with musicians around the world. This project is the only one named after its creator. 2. The 16th of February 2007 is considered to be the official date of nH group birthday, but in fact these people teamed the year before working together at Rosa Orynbasarova's movie "No other desires". After the premiere Mr. Hoper offered to raduga-701 and others to translate some of his texts and connect them with music. This is how the Russian part of multinational project of the extravagant composer saw the light.
