How are some members bidding automatically?
Stereofame now offers premium memberships with extra benefits. One of the benefits is "Auto Bid". Premium members can enter the maximum amount of points they're willing to spend for an item at the Point Store and the auto bid system bids for them. If someone outbids their max bid figure, the also have the option to be notified via text messaging.
