I shouldn't do this and really don't need to because the site is very intuitive and even better the site will reward creativity beyond these basics...

Musicians

The place to start is to upload your best stuff. Ultimately it's the fans and labels loving your music that counts.

Next create an awesome page for yourself on Stereofame. All the tools are there to make it easy. Once the fans love your music, they're going to want to know all about you...photos, comments, gigs, etc...well you know.

If you've got a fan base, send them to Stereofame. Their listens and votes will drive new fans and votes and it all adds up to points.

Even if you don't have fans, watch the power listeners. Probably one in ten can make you really make a difference in your standing.

Check out the labels that seem to sign your type of music. Get them to sign you and their fans will be your fans.

Watch your charts. What's being listened to and what's getting the love? And what's not? Manage your uploads; try new music.

Then, start using your music skills to sign artists that you think will be successful. Don't have any music skills? Then, just pick what you LIKE! You'd be surprise how good you are at discovering great talent.

Watch the charts and try to find the new acts you believe in because the earlier you sign them, the more points you earn. Cool huh? It's a good reason to check in daily because we're in a constant outreach to bring in new talent.

Tell your friends to vote for your artists on Stereofame. The more listeners that vote for your artist, the more points you'll get.

I know there are lots of music sites out there where you can hear new music, vote on it, even buy it. But they all fall short when it comes to getting the listener engaged in more than just listening. So what happens is that the average listener hears a few songs and then wanders away when they get distracted. They may or may not come back because the connection is weak.

What we have is a game structure that energizes listeners and musicians to get involved. It’s all about engagement…engagement in music, engagement in the game, and engagement with friends. Okay, so it still needs some work. Stereofame is a place where a listener can hear some great songs, or get engaged and create a virtual label, earning points for great rewards.
