Originally sprouting in the 1990's Seattle music scene, members met through the legendary Paramount Theater, located at 901 Pine.

Germinating in basements through 2000, they re-formed in May of 2009, when Aaron, Sam, John and Forrest met in Seattle to prepare for recording at Paradise Sound Recording in Index, stashed high up in the Cascades.

901 Pine is infected with an unabashed affection for bombast and a driving, crafted sound.
